Per 3 motivi:
1- l'amore per il canto
2- la sirenetta si innamora di un essere umano (amore impossibile fin dal principio)
3- a differenza di tutte le altre principesse,nella vera storia la sirenetta,per quanto faccia (lascia tutto,da via coda,voce..ecc), alla fine il suo principe non la amerà mai...e sposa pure un'altra

Come? Veramente la sirenetta e il principe si sposeranno. Lei vivrà con lui nel mondo umano ma si trasforma ancora in sirena, solo quando serve però
